Reed Business Support are recruiting on behalf of an established Logistics company based in Bradford. Our client is seeking for a proactive and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join their Sales Department. The role is crucial for maintaining and growing business profitability by ensuring excellent customer service and efficient handling of client requirements.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Provide and maintain exceptional customer service, fulfilling client requirements to the expected company standard
  • Prioritise tasks and complete documentation for quotations
  • Understand and implement office routines and systems related to export and import relevant to the role
  • Interact with other company members to ensure the overall purpose of the company is met
  • Work within the Internal Sales Department, quoting shipments to/from worldwide points
  • Handle quotation requests, liaise with suppliers and carriers to obtain the best prices, and quote customers accordingly
  • Follow up with clients to ensure competitiveness and secure bookings
  • Liaise with operational staff for handover and completion of bookings, ensuring clear instructions and costings are communicated

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Initiative, common sense, and a proactive approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective negotiation skills with customers and suppliers
  • Flexibility and willingness to engage in all aspects of the business
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Training will be provided on the main operating computer system

General Information:

  • Working hours: Monday-Friday, 09:00 to 17:30
