We are currently recruiting for a multi-skilled engineer for our client who is a UK leading independent contract packer, based in Bradford. (BD5)

SALARY
42,000 - 45,000

HOURS OF WORK
2 weekly rotation shift pattern
Monday - Friday 05:45am - 14:15pm or 13:45pm - 22:15pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete the Planned Maintenance inspections and condition reports in line with the site maintenance plan.
  • Optimise and adjust equipment whilst it is running in production.
  • Set new lines according to the job bag to produce high quality products.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Fault finding on all types of Machinery.
  • Support others in the department in relation to Health and Safety.
  • Work with the Engineering and production team to develop ideas and implement into production.
  • Plan and deliver corrective and reactive work, keeping production downtime to a minimum.
  • Get hands-on with engineering R&D projects and play a part in new installations or refurbishments.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • Electrical and Mechanical engineering qualification.
  • Experienced within a similar process, production, or manufacturing environment.
  • Good fitting skills.
  • Able to understand engineering drawings.
  • Experience working as part of an engineering team.
  • Experience working on 3-phase motors, drives and inverters.
  • Fault finding skills.
  • Logical problem solving.
  • Knowledge of Programming PLCs.

Desirable but not essential Skills:

  • Knowledge of 3D design software.
  • Knowledge of 3D printing.
