The role and who we want

Following the award of new civils and infrastructure contracts in the North-West and expansion into Yorkshire we are looking for someone with experience of civil engineering, infrastructure and groundworks packages, including RC slabs, retaining walls, drainage, surface water attentuation and ducting. Ideally holding their HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, along with SMSTS accreditation. We want somebody with the drive and passion to grow with an already busy and fast paced team, who can show an understanding of where each scheme is up to by monitoring ELFs and working closely with the commercial department, ensuring CVRs are accurate, and all costs are recorded. 

Essential information

·       Experience in Highways/waste water/excavation/groundworks/concreting/drainage

·       Minimum 10 years’ experience in a site supervisory role

·       HNC/HND/Degree qualification in construction-related studies 

·       Minimum Gold Card CSCS accreditation

·       SMSTS 5-day accreditation

·       Minimum 3-day first aid accreditation

·       Full Clean Driving Licence

·       Temporary Works Supervisor accreditation

·       NRSWA Supervisor / Lantra 12D accreditation

·       SEATS accreditation (Site Environmental)

·       Good working knowledge of the construction industry and of all relevant trade disciplines

·       Good understanding of the CDM regulations

·       Good understanding of NEC Form of Contracts
