TEMP TO PERM

Currently based in BD14, the company is relocating to a new site in BD3 late 2025.

  • £14.00 per hour for first 12 weeks. (£27300)
  • £16.50 per hour after 12 weeks completed (£32175)

Monday to Friday, 7:45 am - 3:45 pm (37.5 paid hours after breaks).

THE ROLE AND COMPANY

Reporting directly to a very experience Production Manager, this is a newly created role designed to assist the two existing team members in a busy warehouse and the wider production team.

The role includes:

  • Forklift driving (approximately 15%)
  • Van driving (approximately 20%)
  • General warehouse duties (approximately 65%)

ESSENTIAL TO APPLY

  • Valid and up-to-date counterbalance forklift licence.
  • Minimum of 3 years of FLT counterbalance experience.
  • Clean driving licence (must be over 25 for insurance purposes).
  • Order picking experience.
  • Stock control experience
  • Packing experience
  • Must be hands-on, adaptable, and eager to help
  • Loading/Unloading

** It is essential that you are a team player, who is more than happy to help in other departments, including production when required **

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts (counterbalance licence required; reach truck experience a bonus).
  • Safely stack/unstack goods on pallets and shelves.
  • Load and unload deliveries, moving goods to appropriate storage areas.
  • Keep forklift areas clean and free from obstructions.
  • Conduct basic maintenance checks on forklift equipment.
  • Perform basic order picking and data entry tasks.
  • Pack pallets securely for transport.
  • Drive the van between on-site and off-site warehouses.
  • Act as a "water spider" to locate raw materials for production.
  • Engage with delivery drivers.
  • Support other factory departments as required.
  • Participate in stock-taking as needed.
