Press Operator

Thrive Group Wakefield are keen to speak to candidate who have experiences working with press machines.

Covering 3 rotating shifts 6-2/2-10/10-6 with the pay rate of 13.07 p/h

Requirements:

• Operating press machines
• Carrying daily inspections of presses.
• Installation of press tools.
• Change over and setting of press.
• Change over and setting of associated equipment.
• Carrying out quality control procedures and recording.
• Identifying non-conforming material and isolation procedures.
• Problem solving/reporting to engineering department.
• Reporting immediately any issues which raise the concerns to the safety of operator and others who might be affected by. If necessary, isolate and lock out the press to prevent the operation until the fault is rectified.

Required Education/Qualifications

• Good English skill, both verbal and written
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience
• Previous press machinery experience
