Role - Power Press Operative
Location - Bradford
Shifts - 6am-2pm/2pm -10pm/10pm-6am (YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL 3 SHIFTS)
Pay - 13.49 for Double days 25% uplift for nights
Start - ASAP
Typical Responsibilities will include:
- Working on Power Presses up to 40 tonnes
- Installation of tooling, setting of the Power Presses and ancillary equipment in line with SMED principles
- Carrying out quality control procedures and keeping accurate records of measurements
- Identifying non-conforming parts and instigating product isolation procedures when necessary
- Trace and correct running faults on the Power Press
- Reporting breakdown and/or maintenance issues to the Production Management team
- Packaging and storage of finished products
- Maintaining housekeeping standards and organising/participating in the timely removal of scrap
Knowledge, skills, and experience required:
- Experience working with Power Presses in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Conversant with using measuring equipment
- Good level of literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good eye for detail
Desirable Qualifications - (willing to train the right candidate)
- FLT counterbalance
- PUWER Power Press Certificate
