Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and implement an engaging English curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
- Lead the English faculty, utilising your extensive teaching and leadership experience to drive success and high standards.
- Coach and motivate colleagues to achieve both individual and collective educational targets.
- Foster an innovative and creative learning environment to engage, enthuse, and progress learners.
- Ensure sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement within the English department.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
- Ability to teach English to GCSE standard.
- Proven track record of improving standards and raising pupil outcomes.
- Experience in leading a team or faculty within a school setting.
- Strong organisational and motivational skills.
- Passion for educational excellence and making a real difference in the lives of students.
