We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Teacher of Science to join a thriving school, starting ASAP on a full-time basis until Christmas. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting them in their academic development and love for science.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring that students are motivated and challenged.
  • Monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them reach their full potential.
  • Contribute to the development of schemes of work and resources within the science department.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant science subject.
  • Experience teaching science at KS3 and KS4 level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without any restrictions (No Sponsorship).
