Justteachers are working with a primary school in Bradford that is seeking a dedicated and caring Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time role will start after the Easter holidays and run until Christmas, with the potential for a permanent position if the right candidate is found.
The ideal candidate will have a nurturing approach, supporting the development of young children in their early years. While a Level 3 qualification in Early Years education is preferred, it is not essential if you have relevant experience and a passion for working with young children.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
Assist with the development of children's social, emotional, and academic skills
Provide one-on-one support for children who may need extra assistance
Foster a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment for all students
Support children in both indoor and outdoor activities
Help monitor children's progress and support in assessment activities
Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's development
Work closely with the teaching team to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum
The Ideal Candidate:
Level 3 Early Years qualification (desirable but not essential)
Experience working with young children, ideally in an Early Years setting
A patient, caring, and supportive approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Passionate about supporting children's development in their early years
A positive and proactive attitude to learning and working with children
The legal right to work in the UK
Will be subject to Enhanced DBS checks or be willing to apply for one
