We are seeking an HR and Payroll Supervisor for a leading manufacturing company based in Bradford. This role is essential for managing HR and payroll activities for approximately 140 staff, ensuring efficient and compliant HR operations.

Day-to-day of the role:

Responsible for HR and payroll for circa 140 staff.

Extract data regarding hours worked by employees from the Time and Attendance system.

Advise on employment law legislation and manage recruitment processes including the creation and posting of job adverts.

Coordinate interviews with appropriate managers and handle welfare issues, recording and organising them centrally.

Manage sickness absence and support with disciplinary and grievance cases.

Ensure HR records and sickness absence data are up-to-date.

Match and verify piecework job tickets and input wages data into payroll templates/software systems.

Conduct verification checks, resolve queries, and manage payroll reporting and electronic filing.

Handle documentation for starters and leavers and perform other ad hoc HR and payroll duties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Previous HR and payroll experience.

Proficiency in using Time & Attendance software and payroll software.

Strong working knowledge of Excel & Word.

Experience managing a small team of staff.
