We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join a charitable organisation based in Bradford. There is a diverse workforce of around 450 employees based across the UK. The role will involve providing advice and support to line managers on ER cases, performance management and queries throughout the employee life cycle. It will also involve day to day managing HR systems, supporting HR Officers with recruitment and onboarding and payroll when required.

We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor with a strong background of managing ER cases across a diverse workforce.

Day to day duties include:

  • Providing support to line managers across a wide range of HR queries
  • Support managers and HR Manager with ER cases and coordinating and conducting interviews, investigations, disciplinaries and grievances
  • Support with HR and Payroll administration
  • Manage HR systems and ensure accuracy
  • Supporting HR Officers with recruitment processes and onboarding

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous HR Advisor experience
  • Strong knowledge of ER processes and handling and coordinating ER cases
  • A good understanding of UK employment law and ACAS best practices
  • Empathetic with strong communication skills
  • Good IT skills including Excel
  • CIPD is an advantage but not essential
