We're looking for an experienced Data Governance specialist who is passionate about driving data excellence and ensuring regulatory compliance. We're looking for someone with experience in financial services to lead and implement best-in-class data governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data governance strategy aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

  • Establish policies and processes to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, Basel III).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Risk, Compliance, IT, and Business Units, to manage data standards.

  • Drive data quality initiatives, including the creation of metrics and ongoing performance reporting.

  • Lead and oversee data stewardship programs, empowering stakeholders to maintain data integrity.

  • Manage data governance tools and systems to improve data lineage, cataloguing, and privacy. (experience with Purview is desired)
