We are excited to be recruiting for a Sales Support Administrator to join our Bradford based client, a global freight-forwarder. Our client is looking for someone with previous experience in freight forwarding and strong administrative skills to take on this position.
Supporting the external sales team, this position is responsible for managing the sales process from an administrative capacity. You will be building relationships with customers, managing invoices and advising on rates.

Key Responsibilities for a Sales Support Administrator:
* Respond to customer queries via phone and emails.
* Calculate and advise rates to customers and the external sales team.
* Handle invoices and negotiate on pricing.
* Provide customers with quotes as is required.
* Develop and grow long-term relationships with customers and shipping companies.
* Work with rate sheets.
Skills & Competencies for a Sales Support Administrator:
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Professional telephone manner and effective communication skills.
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work to deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Good level of education in Maths & English.
* A background in supply chain or freight-forwarding is essential.
* Experience working in a sales support capacity.
