Your new companyHays Specialist recruitment are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join an ambitious and growing public sector organisation based in Bradford. You will be reporting to the Head of Transformation and will be part of an expanding change and transformation team.

Your new roleAs an experienced IT Project Manager you'll play a key role in overseeing the planning, implementation, and execution of priority projects, particularly around the system and application space. This will include CRM/ERP and Asset Management systems. You'll utilise your engagement skills to work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and external partners to ensure that projects are delivered on time, meeting defined objectives within budget, using agreed project governance. You will bring project management best practice to the evolving change and transformation team.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of project management in systems and applications projects such as ERP/CRM/Asset management systems
  • Experience of managing cross-functional, large-scale projects using project management methodologies and applying the governing principles.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and building collaborative relationships, including strong influencing skills with ability to gain buy-in from challenging stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering presentations to colleagues of all levels with proven ability to effectively communicate complex and/or technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication and solid stakeholder management skills
