Housing Team Leader
Location: Bradford
Hours: 35 hours per week (Flexible schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
Salary: 25,500 per annum
Enhanced DBS: Required

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Housing Team Leader to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in supporting vulnerable clients in Bradford. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals, helping them transition to independent living while managing and supporting a highly committed team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Bradford Council's Housing Options service, managing online referrals and allocations to maximize occupancy in hostel provisions.
  • Work alongside the Supported Tenancies team and non-commissioned services to facilitate appropriate sideways moves for service users.
  • Provide a dual function of housing-related support and intensive housing management to service users.
  • Offer practical and emotional support to help clients develop life skills and transition to independent accommodation.
  • Ensure the day-to-day efficient running of all services in line with company policies and procedures, promoting and encouraging good practices.
  • Participate in a flexible rota, covering holidays, sickness, and occasional bank holidays, often at short notice.
  • Oversee the Homes4Life service, managing and supporting the Supported Housing Officer team and assisting service users in their absence.


Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional short-notice shifts.
  • Experience in housing management or working with vulnerable clients is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with service users.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (required).
