The role of the Designer / Draughtsperson Bespoke Joinery & Furniture will involve:
Designer position dealing with a high end bespoke range of bespoke furniture and joinery projects
Responsibility for efficient and accurate delivery of design schemes in line with client requirements, project scope, costs, material lead times and deadlines
Review and interpret client drawings to gain a full understanding of what the project entails
Liaising with the client to obtain and further information that is required
Producing clear 2D drawings using Solidworks & Rhino, elevations and layouts should be scaled accordingly to maximise clarity and understanding
Working closely with the Design Manager on completed works and projected workload
Liaise with procurement, project and workshop teams regarding any long lead time materials
Discuss design decisions with Lead Joiners
Working on projects ranging in value from £1k - £3.5m
The ideal applicant will be a Designer / Draughtsperson Bespoke Joinery & Furniture with:
Must have a design or draughtsperson experience utilising Solidworks or Rhino software
Familiar with producing layout drawings
Furniture, fit out, joinery or carpentry design experience would be highly advantageous
Must have the ability to read technical drawings
Excellent communication and customer service skills
High levels of attention to detail
IT literate (Microsoft Office)
Genuine get up and go work ethic
