ASSEMBLY OPERATIVE
We are recruiting for an Assembly Operative to work for our client who are located in Bradford, West Yorkshire
THE DUTIES OF AN ASSEMBLY OPERATIVE:
The Assembler is responsible for assembling electronic components and systems according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
This role involves following work instructions, building sub-assemblies & full assemblys, testing assemblies, and ensuring that all products meet performance and safety standards.
Work closely with other team members to address assembly/quality challenges.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving and process optimization.
Ability to work for extended periods while seated and perform repetitive tasks.
Capability to lift and move materials up to [weight limit, e.g., 25 lbs] as needed.
Vision must be sufficient to accurately read small print and work with intricate components.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:
Previous experience in assembly is required.
Proficient in use of hand tools.
Attention to detail
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Basic knowledge of testing equipment.
THE HOURS:
Working on days Monday Friday - 6am-2pm
This is an ongoing contract that will be about 3-4 months. Could be extended if needed.
THE PAY:
You will earn an hourly rate of £11.44 per hour.
