Description
The Claims Handler will be:
- Managing a varied caseload of public liability matters including personal injury and property damage claims from instruction through to settlement.?
- Gathering evidence and obtaining witness statements.?
- Investigating and negotiating settlements.
- Obtaining and interpreting specialist reports.
- Negotiating fair and cost-effective settlements.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Providing accurate and timely reports on claim status and outcomes.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement.
- Working collaboratively with the legal team and other internal departments.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
Profile
The Claims Handler should be:
- A professional with 2+ years of experience handling insurance claims.?
- Experienced in managing property damage and personal injury matters.
- A degree in law.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- A customer-focused approach and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
