Description

The Claims Handler will be:

  • Managing a varied caseload of personal injury and property damage claims from instruction through to settlement.?
  • Gathering evidence and obtaining witness statements.?
  • Investigating and negotiating settlements.
  • Obtaining and interpreting specialist reports.
  • Negotiating fair and cost-effective settlements.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Providing accurate and timely reports on claim status and outcomes.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement.
  • Working collaboratively with the legal team and other internal departments.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.

Profile

The Claims Handler should be:

  • A professional with 2+ years of experience handling insurance claims.?
  • Experienced in managing property damage and personal injury matters.
  • A degree in law.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
  • A customer-focused approach and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
