Description
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing process.
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Provide training and support to operational teams in lean manufacturing techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices.
- Monitor and report on performance against key performance indicators.
- Contribute to the creation and updating of standard operating procedures.
- Support the implementation of new equipment and processes.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Profile
A successful Continuous Improvement Engineer should have:
- A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing training.
- Proven experience delivering Continuous Improvment projects.
- A strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and inspire teams.
- Proficiency in using standard industry software tools.
