- Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and issuing sales contracts.
- Managing client work following department procedures.
- Supporting the department with any other tasks as needed.
- Answering incoming calls, handling enquiries, and passing on messages.
- Providing clients with advice and updates, ensuring excellent client care.
- Coordinating with estate agents, solicitors, and other professionals.
- Handling financial transactions related to client cases.
- Preparing client bills and managing the file opening and closing process.
- Conducting property searches, pre-exchange checks, and post-completion registrations.
- Participating in appraisals, setting personal objectives, and completing relevant training.
- Adhering to professional regulations, health and safety rules, and equality policies.
- Keeping the filing system organised and up-to-date.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in the end-to-end conveyancing process.
- A Law Degree or conveyancing qualification is desirable but not essential if you have relevant conveyancing experience.
