My client, a modern and ambitious law firm based in central Bradford is currently seeking a Personal Injury Litigator to join their busy team Personal Injury department. This is a busy and varied role where you will be responsible for managing Employer Liability and Public Liability Personal Injury claims from instruction to completion. The successful applicant will have defendant litigation experience, ideally within EL/PL.

Duties will include:

Responsible for running a varied defendant EL/PL workload (mainly from a retail perspective) from commencement of litigation to trial and occasionally handling pre-litigation matters.

Provide great service to clients and ensure client services are delivered in an efficient and profitable way.

Provide recommendations on liability and quantum.

The role is based within a wider litigation team, with a supportive and helpful supervision structure and case management system.

Ensure changes in legislation and technical knowledge including case law are kept up-to date - with support being available for this.

Comply with the firm’s risk management procedure and Money Laundering Regulations and ensuring complaints about service and professional conduct are referred to the appropriate partner.

Experience required:

Experience (up to 3 years) of defending fast track claims - essential

Experience of defending low value EL and PL claims - preferable

Litigating claims in the context of Retail - preferable
