Due to recent company growth and increase in workloadwe are looking to recruit anexperienced Pump Service Engineers to join a leading business looking to expand their national field service team. This role provides the opportunity to work on a range of highly secured sites across the UK so the ability and willingness to travel and clear criminal record is a must!
The successful candidate MUST have demonstrable experience in carrying out pump maintenance along with other rotating equipment(both corrective and preventative maintenance).
Candidates must be time served in a relevant discipline with a Full UK Driving License. In accordance with businesspolicy medical or drugs and alcohol testing will be required.
Standard 37 hours per week - Flexible approach to hours is required to suit client / site requirements.
Typical earnings Circa 60k
Role Description
- Supporting our customers at their site or locations.
- Fault finding on a wide range of rotating machinery.
- Strip, inspect and re-build a variety of Pumps following pre-established work scopes.
- Equipment removal, installations, and commissioning activities.
- Perform alignment checks using DTls or Laser alignment equipment.
Skills / Qualifications
- Candidates will ideally be time served in relevant Discipline.
- Experienced in service and overhaul of pumps
- Understanding of the principles of Mechanical seals would be advantageous.
- Full UK driving license
- CCNSG Card/ Safety Passport - advantageous
- Ability to obtain security clearance where needed.
- Ability to accurately read, review and interpret manufacturing designs, drawing and schematics.
