Customer & Transport Co-ordinator

Salary: 25k+ DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday (Full Time)
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire

Our client is looking for someone who is confident, energetic, and not afraid to be adaptable across the work force. This role will be ideal for someone who is able to offer excellent customer service and provide the customer with an informative and efficient journey, at all times.

Key duties of the Customer & Transport Co-ordinator

  • Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers about lead times and collection dates.
  • Providing Customer care to existing customers to drive business and continued partnerships.
  • Organising deliveries across the UK.
  • Communicating with clients and engineers via telephone and email.
  • Coordinating with various departments to ensure seamless communication.
  • Booking transport activities using computer systems and online software.
  • Creating transport documents and packing lists.
  • Providing exceptional customer service before, during and after all deliveries.
  • Handling any transport-related incidents, claims and implement corrective actions.


Key Competencies of the Customer & Transport Co-ordinator:

  • IT skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook and Word.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
