My Client who is a leading manufacturer within their field is seeking an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance engineer. This will be a sole position where you are responsible for Maintenance of all machinery onsite. Ideally you will be a competent Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias.

Maintenance Engineer
Responsibilities:
•Assisting with major breakdowns by carrying out root cause analysis.
•Improving machinery when necessary
•Providing plausible solutions to prevent re-occurrence of machinery issues.
•Minimise machine downtime.
•Undertaking PAT testing
• Develop machines where possible, electrically and mechanically
•Log work orders on Shire CMMS to build up machine history
•Order machine and factory spares when required.
•Deal with outside contractors for machine servicing making sure these are carried out on time etc.
•Order machine and factory spares when required.
•Install new power supplies when required.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
•Fault finding and diagnostic ability.
•Knowledge of pneumatics
•Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
•Safe approach to all work tasks.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Organisational and planned approach.
•Problem solving attitude.
•Knowledge/Qualifications in electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines.
•Experience working as a Multi skilled engineer in a manufacturing or production environment.
