Our client based in West Yorkshire with an excellent reputation is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer responsible for optimising internal improvements within a fast-moving manufacturing business. The ideal Manufacturing Engineer will be experienced within leading continuous improvement projects with the ability to review data.The roleResponsible for the preparation of the manufacturing routes for both quotation and production purposes Reviewing of contracts in order to determine manufacturing capabilitySupport product/process development and customer ordersLook to implement cost reduction plans by increasing process capabilityResponsible for the monitoring of sample and development productsMonitoring of all processes in order to maintain and improve capabilityPromote Health and Safety at all times
Lead continuous improvement projectsResponsible for the review and approval of raw materialThis will be based on certification, purchase order and testingDealing with customer queries, resolving process/specification issues before order confirmationThe ideal Manufacturing EngineerPrevious working experience in manufacturing)Experience within the application of statistical and problem solving toolsIdeally, FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa, 6 Sigma, SPCAbility to read engineering drawingsAbility to liaise with other teams to improve/discuss process improvement issuesThe successful Manufacturing Engineer will be rewarding with a fantastic basic salary plus excellent company benefits including a bonus.
