The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of plant machinery and automated equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing productivity. Key responsibilities include:
- Fault-finding, diagnosing, and repairing all plant machinery, including palletisers, injection moulding, and robotics
- Performing preventative and total productive maintenance (PPM/TPM)
- Fault-finding and diagnostics on PLC systems, including Alan Bradley and Siemens
- Working on pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime
- Managing and ordering stock parts for maintenance
The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- A recognised Engineering Qualification or be Apprentice Trained
- Ideally, hold an 18th Edition certification
- Proven ability to fault-find, diagnose, and repair machinery with minimal downtime
- Experience working with PPM schedules and within FMCG environments
- Preferably 70% Electrical / 30% Mechanical, though other biases will be considered
