POST- Recruitment is proud to be recruiting for an exciting opportunity on behalf of our client, a rapidly growing company with exceptional private equity backing. They are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead their PET sheet extrusion and granulation facility. This role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking organization at the forefront of their industry.

The Role:

As the Production Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the PET sheet extrusion and granulation plant. You will be responsible for meeting productivity, quality, safety, and efficiency standards, while ensuring compliance with BRC accreditation and other regulatory requirements. This is a key leadership role that will have a direct impact on the company’s continued success and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management

  • Manage and monitor production schedules to meet targets.
  • Ensure efficient use of raw materials to reduce waste.
  • Maintain high product quality in line with customer and company standards.

Granulation Oversight

  • Oversee the granulation process, ensuring optimal equipment performance.
  • Manage the production of high-quality regrind materials for extrusion use.

Accreditation & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with BRC (British Retail Consortium) standards.
  • Lead audits, maintain documentation, and address non-conformances.
  • Provide training to staff on compliance and hygiene protocols.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and develop the production team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and staff training initiatives.
  • Promote a safe, clean, and positive working environment.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation.
  • Implement improvements to maintain the company’s market-leading position.
About You:

We’re looking for a hands-on leader with proven experience in production management, particularly in PET sheet extrusion and granulation. You’ll have a strong understanding of BRC standards, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to inspire and develop a team.

Essential Skills & Experience:
