Role- Laser Profile Team Leader

Key Purpose of Job:(Overview statement of the job, its purpose and the main objective)
The Profile Team Leader reports directly to the Operations Manager and is responsible for managing the resource within the department to execute schedule of work.
Duties will include planning plate processing operations, which include profiling, cutting, grinding and prepping.
Ensuring excellent quality of product to meet customer specification and compliance with safe operating procedures and health and safety legislation.
Key Job Responsibility:
- Provide competent workforce to cover all profiling operations and provide overall operational support within the operational wider team.
- Experience ofESAB Plasma, ESAB Gas and Techserv Gas Machineswould be an advantage
- Ensure Safe Operating Procedures and Health & Safety Legislation are followed.
- Assist in planning resource to ensure orders are despatched on time.
- Ensure excellent quality assurance of product to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Maintain and manage control of stock and traceability.
- Enthusiastically Participate in Health & Safety Committee and Business Improvements.
- Complete RTW Interviews and Appraisal Review for employees.
- Provide excellent housekeeping and clean down procedures to ensure machine availability.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Competent Overhead Crane Operator
- Competent Machine Operator
- Previous Experience of Team Management
- Excellent knowledge of Safe working practices & H&S Legislation
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Computer literate
- Ability to communicate and build strong relationships across the operational team.
- Understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement
