An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s largest food processing facilities. They are a company specialising in the manufacture and converting of hygiene based products. They are an extremely secure company and have been established for over 130 years, now due to further expansion, they are looking to recruit a mechanically biased multi skilled engineer.
Key Skills
- Apprentice Trained Engineer in Mechanical Engineering
- Competent Welder with basic fabrication/pipefitting skills
- Understanding of PPM systems
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing machine efficiencies. You will need to be a time served engineer with mechanical bias and have medium to heavy process machinery experience. If you have worked on large rollers and bearing based machinery, this would be a great advantage. Also able and willing to weld and work with filter, pumps and general mechanical work including welding, pipe work, conveyors and other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
