38.25 Hours per week, 4 Days Office Based, 1 Day working from home.

Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5pm, Friday Early 4pm Finish.

Senior Design Egnineer required for a manufacturer and provider of bespoke air management solutions. Offering a position with fantastic long term prospects for personal and professional growth, leading and mentoring a small team of Design Engineers and Technicians. Operating within a personable environment and varied role liaising between management, the Design team and clientele.

The Senior Design Engineer Role:

• Responsible for cradle to grave bespoke design projects.
• Leading a multi disciplined team of Designers; checking work, mentoring and leading by example.
• Liaising between other departments including production, the projects team, management and customers.
• Ensuring Designs abide by compliance regulations (ISO9001).
• Producing Bills of materials.
• Direct involvement in R&D projects, including the opportunity to lead projects.
• Design in both 2D and 3D with the use of Vault and Autodesk Inventor, including breaking down designs for manufacture/assembly.
• Continuous improvement of product design and processes.

The Successful Senior Design Engineer:

• Experience in the Design of Air Handling Units is preferred, but those having worked with, heating systems, building services products or similar systems are encouraged to apply.
• You will have great time management skills.
• You will be a proficient communicator both written and verbally with both internal and external contacts/teams.
