This is an opportunity to work with a growing business who work directly with Blue Chip Companies across full turnkey solutions within an FMCG environment. They are offering an opportunity to get involved in their growing maintenance department working across maintenance, projects and continuous improvement.
Role Description* Complete the Planned Maintenance inspections and condition reports in line with the site maintenance plan.* Optimise and adjust equipment whilst it is running in production.* Involvement with identifying and carrying out continuous improvement across site.* Fault finding on machinery including baggers, packaging lines, weighers, cartoners and conveyors.* Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to.* Work with the Engineering and production team to develop ideas and implement them into production.* Plan and deliver corrective and reactive work, keeping production downtime to a minimum.* Get hands-on with engineering R&D projects * Carry out new installations and refurbishments.
Skills and Qualifications* Previous experience working with PLC's (Siemens preferred)* Apprentice trained or equivalent within electrical engineering.* Experience within FMCG, Food, Packaging or Pharmacutical* Continuous improvement tools and techniques
