Hours: Monday to Wednesday 7am - 5pm , Thursdays 7am - 4.30pm

Key Responsibilities as Welding Inspector:
* Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of welds and fabricated components to ensure
compliance with industry and project standards.
* Prepare and control welding and manufacturing documentation, specifications, and quality records.
* Oversee welder testing, qualifications, and implementation of inspection and test plans.
* Monitor interpass temperatures, heat input checks, and dimensional accuracy.
* Identify and record non-conformities, managing rectification and retesting where required.
* Coordinate non-destructive testing (NDT) internally and externally.
* Audit welding processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Champion Lean methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualifications & Skills Required as Welding Inspector:
* CSWIP 3.1 OR 3.2 / PCN Level 2 Welding Inspector.
* PCN Level 2 Visual Testing.
* Understanding of welding techniques, materials, and industry standards.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Proficiency with inspection tools and equipment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to safety and quality excellence.
* IT proficiency (Microsoft Word & Excel).
* Additional PCN & Inspection qualifications may be considered.
Desirable (Not Essential):
* NDT certifications (MPI/UT - Magnetic Particle Inspection or Ultrasonic Testing).
* Experience with Hot Dye Galvanising, High Coat NACE Level 2, or ICORR.
* Background in Welding Engineering, Supervision or Leadership roles.
