Customs Coordinator - Requirements
- Any customs clearance related experience
- Experience with Cargowise is an advantage
- Desirable to have experience with customs clearance database
- Ensure legislative compliance
- Ensure that the company operates within all agreed operational procedures
- Prepare correct documentation for all aspects of the transportation of good
- Follow transport and customs regulations, where relevant, to conform to all statutory requirements
Customs Coordinator - Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate the customs clearance between the customer and internal function
- Monitor the clearance status of shipments.
- Provide release notifications to enable cargo to be delivered
- Liaise with the warehouse to be aware of timescales
- Manage the discharge process for chamber of commerce
