We are currently recruiting for a Tutor to deliver Music at an independent unit situated in the Bradford area. Children attending have mild to moderate learning difficulties and will require resilience to be considered for this role.

Job Spec & Description:

This post will offer an extensive amount of training to support your personal development. This will include working towards qualified teacher status. 

We are looking for a Tutor to deliver Music; your responsibilities are as follows

-       Deliver Music and Media to students as part of a wider team

-       Develop tailored approaches in agreement with the SENCO and adopt a more personalised approach for individuals requiring more support.

-       Identify learner's strengths and weaknesses through initial assessment diagnostics and support them accordingly.

-       Prepare, develop and deliver innovative sessions, design and deliver group activities to achieve positive outcomes, and ensure curriculum is kept fresh and up to date.

-       Identify any barriers to learning and plan effective training based on individual learner needs.

-       Provide progress feedback to learners and provide support to ensure they meet their set goal / target.

-       Ensure each learner's progression is recorded efficiently

-       To write reports and attend external meeting

-       To deliver 1:1 and small group sessions.

-       To manage the behaviour management with the school setting.

-       To contribute to record keeping on pupils’ educational needs and support required.

-       To liaise with parents and external agencies

-       To maintain health and safety of animals and people working on site
