JHE & Partners are recruiting a HR Business Partner role on behalf of a successful and highly profitable business based in Leeds and Bradford. This role will be based at their Leeds site with occasional travel to their Bradford office.
Working closely with the HR Manager, the role requires a talented and ambitious individual who will be able to stamp their mark in an ever-changing HR function. This is a hands-on role requiring the chosen candidate to run the operational side of the team, managing policies and procedures whilst being fully au-fait with current HR legislation.
Duties include:
- Participate and take lead in various HR projects
- Work in collaboration with the Hr Manager in relation to HR strategies and procedure
- Develop and update the company policies in line with current legislation
- Ensure compliance with employment law, pay and wages legislation
- Assist in managing the company appraisal system
- Provide SLT and peers, full HR support
- Assist in resolving grievances and disciplinaries
- Coordinate and lead recruitment process / induction of new employees
- Take an active role in staff engagement, wellbeing and promotion of benefits
Person spec:
- 3 years’ experience in a HR Advisor / 1 year Business Partner role
- Up to date employment law knowledge
- Experience of HRIS and reporting
- Highly personable liaising with all areas of the business
Salary on offer will pay in the region of £35,000 - £38,000 + excellent benefits including 26 days holiday (increasing with service), BUPA healthcare, enhanced maternity / paternity, 3x death in service.
