Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support students in the absence of their regular class teacher, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and help students stay on track with their work.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring students remain focused and engaged.
• Provide support to students with their learning, offering guidance and encouragement where needed.
• Ensure that students follow the school's policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
• Report on student progress and behaviour to relevant staff, assisting in their development and tracking.

Requirements:

• Experience working with young people (in a classroom, sports setting, or similar).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage student behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Proactive and adaptable, able to handle a variety of school settings and age groups..
• No formal teaching qualifications required, but experience in a supervisory or support role is a bonus.
