Description
The Personal Injury Claims Handler will be:?
- Managing a portfolio of defendant public liability claims from inception to resolution?
- Assessing liability and quantum, and formulating appropriate strategies for claim resolution?
- Liaising with claimants, solicitors, and other stakeholders to negotiate settlements?
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies?
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the claims process?
- Providing advice and guidance to internal departments on claims-related matters?
- Identifying trends and potential risk exposures to inform risk management strategies?
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the claims handling process
Profile
The Personal Injury Claims Handler should be:?
- An experienced claims handler with a minimum of 2 years' experience in managing personal injury claims (not motor claims)??
- Experience in property damage claims however full training will be provided
- Proficient in assessing liability and quantum, with strong negotiation skills?
- Familiar with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices?
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skills?
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively?
- IT literate, with experience using claims management systems and Microsoft Office
