Description

The Personal Injury Claims Handler will be:?

  • Managing a portfolio of defendant public liability claims from inception to resolution?
  • Assessing liability and quantum, and formulating appropriate strategies for claim resolution?
  • Liaising with claimants, solicitors, and other stakeholders to negotiate settlements?
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies?
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the claims process?
  • Providing advice and guidance to internal departments on claims-related matters?
  • Identifying trends and potential risk exposures to inform risk management strategies?
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the claims handling process

Profile

The Personal Injury Claims Handler should be:?

  • An experienced claims handler with a minimum of 2 years' experience in managing personal injury claims (not motor claims)??
  • Experience in property damage claims however full training will be provided
  • Proficient in assessing liability and quantum, with strong negotiation skills?
  • Familiar with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices?
  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skills?
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively?
  • IT literate, with experience using claims management systems and Microsoft Office
