NextGen Teachers are currently working in partnership with a two-form entry Primary School in Bradford (BD3) who are seeking to recruit a full-time Key Stage 2 Teacher for a Year 6 Class starting in the summer-term of 2025 or sooner if possible.

This is a diverse school with over 20+ languages spoken and the school pride themselves on the diversity and inclusion of all pupils from Early Years to KS2.

This role will be to teach a full class of Year 6 children and will be to work on a full-time basis and take on all responsibilities of the class teacher including: planning, marking, CPD, parents evenings etc.

There is a strong emphasis on Speech and Language and Phonics across school as many of the children at this school are new to England/English.

This is a high performing school graded as OUTSTANDING by Ofsted who pride themselves on their pupils progress from the start of their education to the end.

This school have a strong emphasis on Reading and teaching at this school promotes pupil Independence across the board.

Teachers applying for this position MUST have:

  • Qualified Teaching Status in the UK
  • A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in the UK (M3+)
  • Both ECT years completed
  • Experience teaching inYear 6 (KS2)
  • Extensive experience with KS2 SATs (Reading, Writing and Maths)
  • DBS on the update service
  • 2x professional references
