Job Description

NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a school based in Bradford for an Early Years Learning Support Assistant who is able to support children in Reception who are working at below the National age related expectations.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of Early Years age (3-4 years) with special educational needs, such as autism, ADHD and behavioural challenges. This role will include 1:1 support work with various children as well as group intervention and classroom support. Strong communication is essential, in order to successfully liaise with parents and staff regarding reports and assessments for the children in regards to development plans.

Requirements for an Early Years Learning Support Assistant:

  • Level 3 Qualified in Childcare / EYFS
  • Experience working in a Primary School setting previously
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete one)
  • Two professional references
  • The right to work in the UK
