Primary Teaching Assistant
Job Overview:
NextGen teachers are looking to recruit a Primary Teaching Assistant for the Bradford area. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, as well as having a strong knowledge of phonics frameworks and experience working with special educational needs children.
Non-negotiables:
- A level 2 or Level 3 in childcare
- Experience in childcare
- Strong communication skills
- An Enhanced child DBS (or willingness to complete one)
- Strong communication skills to liaise with parents/carers and staff
Roles:
- Supporting children in a classroom with their development
- Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation and planning
- Leading intervention and phonics groups
- Provide individualised support to children with Special Educational Needs
