The School and Role:

A primary School in the BD5 area of Bradford are looking to appoint a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work with pupils aged 4 - 11  on a Full-Time basis within their SEN Hub. Working in this SEN Hub within this Primary School you will be part of an established team, the desired SEN Teaching Assistant will be working on a small group basis in KS1 and KS2 with pupils with Autism and ADHD. This will require working with pupils on their education outcomes whilst also working with them on their additional needs. This hub caters to young learners with both Autism and ADHD. Working with pupils with Autism means that you will need some experience of working with Young adults or children with additional needs. This school is great for job progression. This Full-Time role is long term and potentially permanent if successful.

Requirements:

The desired SEN Teaching Assistant will have;

  • A passion for working with children with additional needs
  • Experience of working with children and young adults with autism previously
  • Understanding of how to work with children with SEN whilst focusing on both there educational and additional needs.
  • A passion for the progress of children with SEN
  • An ability to work as part of a team
