We are seeking a Shift Production Manager to lead and drive the performance of our manufacturing operations. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of your assigned production shift, ensuring targets for safety, quality, and output are consistently achieved.
- Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, minimize downtime, and optimize processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions where required to meet production goals.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with maintenance, logistics, and quality teams to ensure seamless operations and product integrity.
- Prepare shift reports and communicate with the next shift to ensure continuity and knowledge sharing.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a production management or supervisory role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- A track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence.
- Knowledge of lean principles, 5S and six sigma
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
- Flexibility to work rotational or fixed shifts as required.
