The Comnpany:
This company is a global market leader in the design and manufacture of complex machinery. The site in Leeds manages a huge portfolio of projects for key customers all over the world and is their main manufacturing plant.
As a result of huge amount of growth, they are restructuring the department and created a new role within the business for a Head of Projects, or Senior projects manager.
The Role:
The Head of Projects / Senior Projects Manager will:
- Lead and develop a team of project engineers to deliver high value capital projects across multiple customers
- Take ownership for a vast projects portfolio that includes multiple machinery design and manufacture projects all at different stages, and of varying complexity and value
- Technical and commercial Project management
- Manage key customers
Required Experience:
The Head of Projects / Senior Projects Manager will have the following skills and experience:
- You must have managed high value capital projects
- These projects must be multi-disciplined – mechanical, electrical, control systems
- Experience of managing a team
- Commercially and technically astute
