Property Surveyor - Contract work - 3 months - West Yorkshire
Location: West Yorkshire
Duration: 3 months initially
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm
We are recruiting for a respected non-profit provider of affordable homes. We are looking for an interim Property Surveyor to join their team.
Duties:
- Conducting property inspections and providing technical advice to ensure maintenance work meets high standards
- Managing maintenance contracts and overseeing work to achieve value for money
- Maintaining property records, including condition surveys, EPC data, and compliance documentation
- Assisting with the organisations cyclical maintenance and component replacement programs
The ideal candidate will have:
- HNC or equivalent qualification in a building discipline
- Experience in housing maintenance surveying and working in construction
- Knowledge of relevant regulations like CDM and housing legislation
- Excellent written/verbal communication and customer service skills
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to delivering results
