Trainee Sales Executive – Bradford

The Sylvester Group is a long established, highly reputable, and exceptionally strong group of companies working in the distribution of industrial fasteners, fixings tools and associated products throughout the North of England.

John Sylvester (Fasteners & Plastics) Limited is looking for an ambitious, well presented and highly motivated individual to join our team.

Job Purpose:

As Trainee Internal Sales Executive you will be operating from our premises in Bradford and form part of the team for the selling and distribution of industrial fasteners, fixings, tools and associated products.

This role is ideally suited to someone looking for an opportunity to learn and start to build a career in sales. Previous knowledge of our product range is not essential as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities and Key Tasks

  • Building up knowledge of the product ranges being offered.
  • Gaining a good understanding of the sales, planning and operational processes within the organisation.
  • Speaking with clients on the phone and taking sales orders
  • Receiving sales enquiries and preparing quotations.
  • Processing & releasing orders, liaising with our goods inwards and despatch
  • Carrying out general office duties

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic approach, a willingness to learn and a desire to succeed is crucial
  • Tech Savvy – Confident in using Microsoft Office and ERP Software
  • Possess strong numeracy skills
  • Excellent communication skills and confident in speaking with clients.
