We are delighted to be working with a large secondary school based in North Bradford in a beautiful area, who require the services of an experienced teacher of Art/Textiles or a teacher specialising in another subject with Art/Textiles as part of their experience. With a strong faculty to support you, you will benefit from pre-planned schemes of work with opportunities to put your own mark onto teaching materials and lesson plans.

With high engagement from students, you will be able to work autonomously and focus on your creative skills to help you deliver strong lesson plans. Innovation is supported and praised. All staff are well looked after; senior leaders are always on hand to help with any queries you may have.

About the job:

  • Deliver KS3 and KS4 Art and Textiles
  • Work with small and large groups, ages 11 to 16
  • Working on a long-term basis within an exciting Art and Textiles department

About you:

  • Experience teaching Art and Textiles at KS3 and GCSE Level
  • Used to working in an Art department with lots of facilities and a well-equipped Textiles department
  • Professional and enthusiastic
  • Has an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Team player
  • Kind to colleagues
  • Keen to contribute to the team dynamic
  • Looking for a part time role where you will be valued
