Job Description:
Veritas Education is looking for a creative and passionate Art Teacher to join our team in supporting partner schools in the Leeds and Bradford area. As an Art Teacher, you will inspire students to express themselves through a variety of artistic mediums. You will be responsible for planning and delivering art lessons that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and an appreciation for the visual arts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a range of artistic techniques and mediums.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages artistic expression.
  • Organize and display student artwork within the school and in the wider community.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them develop their skills.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities related to the visual arts, such as art clubs and exhibitions.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Art or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of various art techniques and mediums.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A passion for art and the ability to inspire creativity in students.
