This role is 4 days a week with flexibility on the timetable for which days. The school itself are in a large trust in Bradford who are well known which provides a lot of support for their teachers. There is also an option for a temp to perm on this role which could suit someone who is a great fit for the school.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that enhances students' language and literature skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support.
- Organize and participate in literary events and activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate English into the broader curriculum.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in English or a related field.
- Experience teaching English at the secondary school level.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
