Veritas Education, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking a Qualified English Teacher to work on behalf of our organization in partnership with a thriving secondary school in the Bradford area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive educational setting.
Role Overview:As a Qualified English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. You will play a key role in fostering a love for English, developing students' language and literary skills, and helping them achieve their full potential.
This full-time position is available immediately and will run until Easter in the first instance, with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to a range of learning abilities.
- Monitor, assess, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure academic success.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to departmental initiatives and school-wide goals.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree in English or a related subject.
- Proven experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
